Pineapples, Peaches, Pass the Pints, OH MY! REVIEW

October 10, 2017

I got a review for a y'all! How do you feel about learning about some new brewskis out on the market right now?

If the answer is anything besides a, "hell no!" then keep reading!!!

Being from Georgia, there is a huge influx of craft beers showing up every week in the beer world. Being the thirsty girl that I am, I welcome new tastings to my expanding need to learn more about them. Below are two local Georgian beers:

1. Boulevard and Creature Comforts Collab #7-Oak Aged Lager w/ peach, lemon zest, riesling, and grape juice

-medium head, hazy apricot-orange color middle, and

-lemon zest, and pear and peach fruit cocktail juice on the  nose

-taste is light, fruit juice stickiness to your tongue, you taste all the ingredients listed on the label, a slight Charmat (sparkling wine) texture, medium balanced, no hoppy bitterness.

2. Orpheus Over and Over- Pineapple Sour Ale

-medium head that lasts about twenty minutes, body is semi transparent, light golden honey color

-lemon juice on the nose and very faint tropical scent, I would say its closer to a unripe pineapple

-taste is of lemon zest, pineapple rind meat, pineapple skin, very tart

*i'm not a huge fan of sours, but this one I would give a 5 on a scale of 10, I don't necessarily have to have a drink of a whole glass of water after drinking a can of this against other sours.*

Pictured below in glass and above.

Try them out for yourself and let me know what you think of them! Also would you like more of these reviews? Comment down below!
